Legal Aid Manager
The Legal Aid Manager will support the design and implementation of a number of specific interventions of the MyJustice programme under result Area 2. S/he is responsible for ensuring the programme’s impact, experience and expertise takes account of Myanmar’s legal framework, practices and culture, and influences change in the justice sector (informal and formal) in Myanmar. S/he will contribute to the programme’s success by improving engagement with legal professionals and other justice service providers. S/he will manage a new MyJustice referral service, manage new planned victim support services for the Justice Centre network as well as working with the Communications Team to manage and support the integration of the Lann Pya app across several digital social media platforms. Given the current Covid-19 pandemic it is likely that during the initial months of the contract the Legal Aid Manager will spend extended periods working remotely through online platforms including MS Teams and Zoom. This will require an ability to work independently with limited face to face supervision and support.
