Legal Awareness Content Consultant

MyJustice is a four-year (2015 August - 2019 July) access to justice programme funded by the European Union and implemented by British Council. MyJustice is developing a mobile and web application that aims improve public access to information relating to domestic law and fundamental rights, to strengthen understanding of those rights, and to connect people with legal grievances or questions to lawyers and other service providers who can help them. The application will be launched in 2018 in conjunction with a broader mass media campaign to raise awareness of justice related issues in Myanmar. 

MyJustice is seeking a consultant to support the development of simplified legal awareness content for the application, facilitate its integration with other functions of the application, and design the way legal awareness content is disseminated through the social media newsfeed feature of the application. Preferred candidates will have at least five years working experience relating to law, gender, human rights and legal empowerment, and have experience working with Myanmar CSOs to design and implement community-level programming on the same.
